The purpose of Gloria Dei Preschool/Kindergarten is to provide each child with genuine care and love in a safe, nurturing environment. Each child will be recognized as a special individual and allowed to grow socially, emotionally, physically and mentally. School hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This period meets the need of parents for greater flexibility for their own time management. We offer Before School Care starting at 9:00 a.m. for a minimal price for those needing an earlier drop-off.

Gloria Dei Lutheran Preschool is a unique program in which children are encouraged and motivated to learn through a hands-on learning experience. The class size consists of  10 or less children per teacher with an aide assisting in art class. The small class size is designed to give each child more individual attention. Our dedicated staff continues to provide a curriculum that builds the whole child. 

We also offer an amazing Kindergarten program from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. The curriculum meets all the Kentucky standards for Kindergarten. Some of the skills we cover are phonics, language arts, writing, poetry, math, science, social studies and reading groups/ centers. Class size for this program is 12 students to 1 teacher.

What makes our program special? Our program offers a diverse way to learn by offering home-based classrooms with built-in rotations throughout the day. Each class schedule includes art, tactile table, science, music/movement, story time, free play, dramatic play, Spanish, Classic Bible Stories, indoor or outdoor gym, and lunch. 

We also invite community agencies to share their programs with our students. These include the Kenton County Library monthly visits, Ft. Mitchell Fire Department, Newport Aquarium, Cincinnati Zoo, and Santa himself!
